DC Design House - Barbara Franceski

I wanted to continue showcasing designers from the DC Design House with two more designers this week.

First, let me introduce you to the work of Barbara Franceski, in case you are not already familiar with her. Her guest sitting room was to me one of the most creative and unique rooms in the house.
I had the opportunity to listen to her about all of the details that went into creating this space. I wish I had more images to show you, because some details, such as the carvings on the inside of the ceiling lamp, were truly amazing. I also love the sheepskin on the chair! It's such a sweet touch. Her website states that "thoughtful customization is her hallmark," and I experienced that first-hand.

Barbara is a DC native who studied Interior Design at James Madison University (where my hubby went to school!) Her interiors are defined by her travels, desire for order and sophistication. Check it out:

I saved my favorite for last. What a cute room!

There is more to see in her porfolio here.
