This reflects me, and my blog, for many reasons. One, the colors - purple, grey, aqua and peachy-pink are my favorite colors. I didn't actually know how they would work together, but I'm happy with how it turned out, and now I'm thinking of using this color combination in a future blog redesign I'm hoping for.
Secondly, the content. Of course, it is all about interior design. Inspirational images, my own drawings, paint and fabric samples, and mood boards. The phrases also directly reflect what I hope to accomplish with this blog, which is to help me develop my dream career and inspire you all in the process.
Other small touches, such as a picture of the city I was born, Sao Paulo, Brazil (top right) and the seashells, help to reflect parts of who I am. The "just married" phrase also represents where I am in life (though now I've been married for nearly a year and a half!) I loved the board so much that I ended up altering it slightly to frame it. I haven't hung it yet, but plan on putting it somewhere I can see regularly, to remind me of my goals with this blog and my career. Here is the framed version:
